NEW AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENTS
Getting to Downtown Roseville – New Roundabout Completed
Visiting Downtown has just gotten easier! If you’ve traveled south from the Placer County Fairgrounds to Downtown Roseville lately, you may have noticed the completion of a new roundabout on the intersection of Washington, Lincoln, and All America City Boulevard.
This roundabout was completed by the City of Roseville as a safety and efficiency measure. It is intended to improve traffic flow and reduce speeds as vehicles enter Historic Downtown and Downtown Roseville.

Downtown Parking Garages – Safety Improvements are Underway
As part of a project funded by the City, the Vernon and Oak Street Garages will be outfitted with safety enhancements including speed bumps. The project is currently in its planning stages and construction is expected to continue through 2025.
Atlantic/Vernon Street Traffic Improvements – Funding Proposal Submitted
City of Roseville is looking to improve the “S-curve” area connecting Atlantic and Vernon Street and has submitted a proposal to the State of California for project funding.
There are several safety improvements included in the project such as raised landscape medians, enhanced pedestrian crosswalks with lighting, and lane reductions to slow vehicle speeds.
If the proposal is approved, we will see a more functional and aesthetic entryway into Downtown Roseville and construction may begin as soon as spring 2025.
