2019 was a whirlwind of a year that brought new businesses, expansion, and significant growth to the Downtown Roseville community (if you missed it, you can read the highlights here). As we look ahead to all that’s in store for 2020, there is so much to look forward to! From the return of all of our favorite events and traditions, to more new businesses getting ready to open up in Downtown Roseville, 2020 is sure to be another one for the books!

  • Friday Flicks

    • Frozen 2 showing on the big screen at Vernon Town Square April 17 at 8:00 p.m. 

    • Jumanji: The Next Level showing May 15 at 8:30 p.m.

  • Wizard Fun Run

    • Wizards and muggles alike are invited to join this magical fun run! Register by April 2nd for the Wizard Fun Run taking place May 3rd!

  • Movie Night Sing-a-long

    • Happening on Vernon Town Square May 30, movie starts at 8:30 p.m. 

                    *This is a free event.

  • Wine Down Wednesday

    • Your favorite way to spend Wednesday evening returns April 15! Join the community and wind down with local wine tasting at Vernon Town Square every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. through May 20. 

  • Other fun goings-on include: 

    • Monday Night Blues at Fig Tree Coffee featuring local musicians beginning at 7PM

    • Goose Port Trivia Tuesdays at 7PM

    • Roseville’s Best Pub Trivia at The Monk’s Cellar every Wednesday night 6-9PM

    • Weekly open mic nights every Friday at 6:30PM at Shady Coffee

    • Free monthly workshops and jam sessions at Strum Shop

    • Food Truck Mania at Vernon Town Square every second Thursday of the month from 5PM to 8PM

    • Downtown Roseville Art Walk hosted by Blue Line Arts every third Saturday from 5PM to 8PM

    • Live performances at Roseville Theatre Arts Academy 

    • And so much more!

  • And the local favorite Downtown Tuesday Nights will return for another season in 2020! (Stay tuned for details.)


New Businesses

Our downtown district experienced a great deal of growth in 2019, and there’s more on the horizon for 2020! Keep an eye out for these new businesses coming in and stay tuned for more new business info on social media (@godowntownroseville) or by signing up for our enewsletter!

  • Root of Happiness 

    • New Kava Bar currently under construction is slated to open this year at 228 Vernon Street

  • Enwood Supper Club

    • Taking inspiration from the comfortable, cozy atmosphere of a Midwestern neighborhood supper club, a new restaurant is anticipated to move into 400 Vernon Street just across from Vernon Town Square

  • A Randy Peters Experience

    • Coming Spring 2020

  • Newer Oak Street parking garage was outfitted with free charging stations for electric vehicles! *Electricity provided by Roseville Electric Utility in cooperation with the California Air Resources Board.
